Antonio Machado y Ruiz (July 26, 1875 – February 22, 1939) was a Spanish poet and one of a leading numbers of the Spanish literary movement called the Generation of '98.
Machado was natural around Seville. His earliest promulgated prose dates from either 1893, while his number one verses were published inside 1901. Inside 1902 he traveled to Paris, where he met Rubén Darío, with whom he forged the firm friendly relationship; back within Madrid, his circle included such numbers when Miguel de Unamuno and Ramón del Valle-Inclán. Inside 1907 he met & married his immature married woman Leonor, world health organization died from either t.b. terzetto years late.

He was elected to serve as a member of the Spanish Royal Academy in 1927.
At a eruption of the Spanish Civil War he was still inside Madrid; in the course of the conflict he relocated to Valencia, Barcelona, and a French town of Colliure, where he would finally die inside exile.
His sentence "the two Spains" —a single that dies and one that yawns— on to the left-right political divisions that led to the Civil War, has passed into Spanish and more languages.
